About the Organisation

The Center for Knowledge Management (CKM) is a research centre established in 2008, with an aim of enhancing and improving knowledge management processes in all societal spheres in Republic of Macedonia and the SEE region. Covering a wide area of activities performed in collaboration with the civil sector, the state, and public administration and the profit sector, CKM 's vision is to become an active actor in the institutional and economic development of the country, and the region in general.

For its main office, CKM has a job opening of a Project Coordinator/Junior Researcher. The Project Coordinator will primarily work on two CKM projects (InnoPlatform and i3). Both projects are co-financed by the European Union and the funds of the member countries under the Interreg Balkan Mediterranean Programme.

 

The responsibilities for the position cover:

  • Coordinates CKM experts and supports their work with research and analysis;
  • Prepares independent research and analysis;
  • Coordinates all activities of CKM projects as requested by the Project Manager communicates with partners, stakeholders, organises virtual and traditional meetings, prepares Agendas and Minutes;
  • Coordinates with suppliers in organising events for the projects;
  • Works on developing content for CKM’s web page as requested;
  • Responsible for CKM Social media avatars i.e. updates information on Social Media;
  • Responsible for CKM e-newsletters; CKM has an automated email system and server with templates;
  • Follows project calls and programme news;

 

Required experience for the position is as follows:

  • At least two years’ experience working or researching the following areas: economic development, science and technology, business enabling environment, and entrepreneurship. 
  • Basic experience in the use of generic research methodologies;
  • Experience in the preparation and implementation of EU programs or projects;

 

Required educational background:

  • Bachelor’s Diploma in economy, e-business, finance, and engineering.
  • Master of Science in economy, entrepreneurship, or industrial engineering and innovation strongly preferred

Additional Skills

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (writing and speaking);
  • Good knowledge of research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative research);
  • Basic knowledge in the use of New technologies – Internet and Social media communication;
