On 29-30 March 2018, the third transnational meeting of the InterregBalkan-Mediterranean InnoPlatform project partners took place at the premises of the UETCentre of the European University in Tirana, Albania.


The InnoPlatform project aims to improve the competitiveness of the Balkan and Mediterranean regions by enhancing knowledge on business innovation models and developing a set of tools (InnoTools) and services (InnoScorecard and InnoRegion) to improve opportunities, skills and knowledge of Small and Medium Enterprises to develop innovative products and services

 

On the first day of the meeting, the partners discussed the general progress of Work Package 1-5 (WP1-WP5) and exchanged views aiming to the successful implementation of the work program.

Particularly, presentations were made by the partners responsible for the work packages on the activities related to:

  • the general management of the project
  • the Communication and promotional plan of the project
  • the conducting of studies and presentation of results on the innovation potential of the enterprises of the Balkan-Med area
  • the development of InnoScorecard and InnoRegion
  • the conducting of business research in the context of innovation
  • the development of the five InnoTools
  • the design of the 5 Centers of Excellence

The online business questionnaire was also presented to the partners, aiming to record the existing business innovation practices and to create the 5 InnoTools.

 

On the second day the project’s Steering Committee meeting took place, where the immediate next steps were agreed especially the activities of the survey and the development of the InnoTools.

During the meeting, the partners unanimously reached decisions that will help to the successful implementation of deliverables. The next partners meeting will take place in Burgas on early July 2018.
