On May 27, 2025, as part of the MKSafeNet project, the Center for Knowledge Management (ЦЗУ) organized a visit to SUGS "Georgi Dimitrov" in Skopje.
Representatives of the Center – Ana Sekulovska, Andrijana Bogdanovska Gj., Bisera Smilevska, and Julius Frank – held two informative sessions designed for both students and teachers.
The primary objective of these sessions was to promote the safe, responsible, and informed use of the internet among young people and educators. Key topics included the protection of personal data, how to recognize manipulative and harmful content, and strategies for addressing cyber violence, digital harassment, and online fraud.
In today’s digital age, where the internet is deeply woven into daily life and the educational process, it is essential for youth to be equipped with the knowledge needed for safe and respectful online communication. These sessions, delivered by ЦЗУ, aim to enhance digital literacy and critical thinking among students, while also providing teachers with practical tools and guidance for education and prevention.
Thanks to an interactive approach, the sessions encouraged open discussion, experience sharing, and the development of joint solutions for a safer digital environment. Students learned how to identify online threats and protect themselves, while teachers were empowered to recognize risks early and incorporate these issues into their teaching practices.
Through the MKSafeNet – Center for Safer Internet project, the Center for Knowledge Management continues its mission of raising awareness about cybersecurity and implementing educational initiatives in schools throughout the country.
🤝 With collective effort, we can foster a digital environment where children and youth feel safe, supported, and informed.
